Taguchi DOE, the Skill of Optimizing Injection Molding Condition – August 9, 2021
Organized by PIDC (Plastics Industry Development Center) Taiwan, Effinno Technologies delivered the public one-day training course – Taguchi DOE (Design of Experiments), the Skill of Optimizing Injection Molding Condition - in Taichung, Taiwan, on August 9, 2021.
In the day’s training, Hank Tsai, the consultant of Effinno Technologies, instructed the participants in a step-by-step procedure for implementing shop-floor Taguchi DOE. The more they learned than they had expected before attending the course includes:
(1) How to derive the best condition from the experiment?
(2) How to achieve even better conditions upon the experiment-derived best condition?
(3) How to evaluate the chances of improving dimension accuracy by condition adjustment while maintaining the gained process robustness?
(4) How to deal with multiple quality characteristics requirements? Does the desired one-size-fits-all process condition exist in the current design of your project?
